Larry Ray Shipman

He worked as a milkman for over 20 years with Pet Dairy and then went to work for Z.F. Lemforder in shipping for over 10 years and considered them much like his second family. Larry was a loving father, brother and son. He wanted everyone to know that they should not be sad at his passing but live in the present and love each other.

Larry is survived by; daughter Miranda Noelle Shipman; mother Mary Shipman; brother Robert Shipman; grandchild Marley Ray Shipman, grandchild Madison Kaylynn Shipman, niece Amber Nicole Shipman, aunt Beverly Williams and husband Carol and life-long friend Deedee Hodge.

Larry was preceded in death by; son Jeremiah Ray Shipman; father Bill Shipman; brother James Andrew Shipman.

A visitation for Larry will be held Sunday, October 13, 2019 from 6:00 PM to 8:00 PM at Thomasville Funeral Home, 18 Randolph Street, Thomasville, North Carolina 27360. A graveside service will occur Tuesday, October 15, 2019 at 2:00 PM at Banks Creek Cemetery, Burnsville, NC.

In lieu of flowers, contributions in Larry's memory may be made to Marley Ray Shipman and Madison Kaylynn Shipman, 119 Wellington Street, Asheville, North Carolina 28806 US.
