Barbara A. Kidd, 73, of Mabscott, WV, passed away on Wednesday, October 30, 2019 at Bowers Hospice House after a long illness. Born on June 3, 1946 in Welch, WV, she was the daughter of the late Warren Earl Jackson and Ruby Mae Hall Jackson. She was also preceded in death by her brother, Danny Jackson.
Barbara spent many years enjoying her favorite hobby making flower arrangements to sell at various craft shows. She was part owner and operator of Sawdust and Posies at the Crossroads Mall for many years. Barbara retired from the business in May of 2017.
She leaves behind to remember and honor her life is her husband, Eddie Kidd; her children, Michael Hylton, Bryan Hylton and Amy Miller; her daughters-in-law, Melani Hylton and Kathy Hylton; son-in-law, Troy Miller; and her grandchildren, Morgan Hylton, Bryce Hylton, Cooper Miller, Maddie Miller, Parker Miller and Kaley Hylton.
At the request of the family, a private graveside service will be held in the Heritage Garden of Blue Ridge Memorial Gardens. Blue Ridge Funeral Home & Crematorium has the honor of serving the family.
