Carl E Swaney Jr.

MT. JULIET – Carl Eugene “Gene” Swaney Jr of Mt. Juliet age 67 passed away on November 5, 2019. Gene graduated from Hillsboro High School class of 1970. Gene is preceded in death by his father Carl Eugene Swaney Sr, his mother Dorothy Jeanne Swaney, brother Robert (Mike) Swaney, grandparents Robert and Geneva Richardson and Virgil and Bessie Bell Swaney. He is survived by his sister Debbie (Tom) Denton, uncle Bobby (Joan) Richardson, nieces and nephews Carl (Ashli) Denton, Heather (James) Duff, John (Shelly) Denton, Michael Swaney, Shelby (Kelly) Eads, great nieces and nephews Gabe Swaney, Dianne Denton, Emily Denton, Callie Duff, Addison Denton, Gracie Duff, Mollie Denton, Beth Ann Eads, Isaac Eads and Thomas Denton. There will be a gathering of Family and Friends on Friday November 8 from eleven o’clock am until one o’clock pm with a Celebration of Life service at one o’clock pm in Woodlawn’s Dignity Hall. In lieu of flowers the family requests memorial contributions be made to Alive Hospice.
