Culista was born in Trenton, Tx on October 23, 1933 to David (DC) and Katie Hembree. She was married to Ronald A Curtis in June 5, 1948 in Denison, Tx. She was a member of Grace Church and had a passion for her family and her faith.
Culista is preceded in death by husband Ronald Curtis; and daughter, Melody Curtis. She is survived by children, Kathy Sapp and husband Max, and Keith Curtis and wife Carol; grandchildren, Chris Sapp, and wife Dinorah, Keri Barton, and husband Justin, Garett Curtis and wife Rebecca, Haley Curtis, Trevor Curtis, and wife Courtney; great grandchildren, William Barton, Samuel Barton, Olivia Sapp, Waylon Curtis, Kannon Curtis, Nolan Curtis.
