Roland was a good friend of mine on Ham Radio for years,,he was always cheerful on the air , I miss him , just was thinking of him on this Easter day 2021 , 

Roland was very popular on Ham Radio across the country.   Always traveling, people loved to hear about the latest 'destination' that Roland and Lorna were heading towards.   I'll always remember his friendly voice and the fun times we had together.   

 



I knew Roland. He was an ambassador for ham radio. God bless his memory and comfort the family. 

Know that you will be missed by all your ham radio friends Roland .

Roland was one of those rare folks who instantly made you feel like a close friend, whether in person or on the radio.  really going to miss him spouting his callsign out of my radio speaker in the various nets.  Our prayers are with you  Lorna, and your family. May God be with you.

Lorna, so sorry to read of the passing ofRoland. I have missed you both at the Y, but just assumed maybe you were off on a trip.  I’m so sorry 

So sorry to hear Roland passed.  He will be sorely missed at our neighborhood functions.  George and always enjoyed seeing him and all his side bar conversations.  We loved Roland and our hearts go out to Lorna and family.  

Roland stopped by my place while on a fishing trip, took my picture with me setting with my Ham Radio equipment.  He kept an album with photos of all his Ham Radio friends.  We all will miss him. 

Sad to hear Roland, N0RAB, is a Silent Key.  I have enjoyed visiting with Roland at many Enid Hamfest and Ham Radio Nets.

So very sorry to hear of Roland's passing.. Spent many hours with him, both in person at Amateur Radio events, and also on the radio with the weather net and SSB net.  Always used to tease him of being Roaming  Roland, The Wichita Line Man, and asking if the Amateur Radio amplifier was being nice to him still..  
RIP, Roland.  Will see you soon in the Great Shack in the Sky.
