It’s hard to believe that it’s been four years since Carole passed. I still miss our chats and catching up on the Neighborhood gossip… there is so much that has happened.
I am hoping that Bill survived Covid and is still doing well and running!

Still missing my friend, Carole. Lots has happened since your passing- wishing I could share it with you. Hoping the life everafter is a all we dream of.?

Miss Pippert was my teacher in the 70's and then my daughter's teacher.  I was in love with her blonde curly hair and smile.  She made learning fun and exciting and when I found out she was still at Rockledge when my daughter was going to transfer in, I requested her to be her teacher.  Students never forget the teachers that made an impact on their life - I will never forget her.

I had the pleasure of having Miss Pippert for my third grade teacher. She was so kind to us, and she made learning fun. She was the prettiest teacher at Cooper Lane!
I am sorry to hear she had pancreatic cancer/pancreatitis. It’s nice to know she only taught elementary school for her entire career. RIP

Ms. Pippert was my 3rd grade teacher in the 70’s.  It was the year my parents split and I was lost. Ms. Pippert would get me books from the library, give me little jobs, and listen to me when I needed her. She was a big part of my survival that year. What a kind, caring teacher she was. 

Ms. Pippert was my second grade teacher at Rockledge Elementary School 1993-1994, and even now, I have such wonderful memories of her! I remember she loved animals, especially cats, and I loved sharing that with her. I hope her family and loved ones find comfort in their happy memories. 

Carole touched my family's life in so many ways, as a friend, teacher, fellow cat lover, a genuine interest in all that's new and so much more.  She was such a delightful teacher for my youngest son.  He and I shared fond memories recently, they are too numerous to remember but he's more organized having had Carole in his life:-) -- her kindness, patience, and absolute love for children was a gift we were lucky to receive.  Will miss you Carole; your smile, love, and laughter...

Carole was a dear friend of mine and one of my mentors  when  I started my teaching career at Rockledge Elementary School.  The help and insight she gave me was invaluable.  Carole was always so generous with her time and resources.  Even after her retirement, she would volunteer in my classroom prepared with the most amazing  lessons and activities.  The students and I were truly grateful!  Carole and I loved our Starbucks coffee and lunches at First Watch. We so enjoyed those times together. I will treasure these wonderful memories forever.  Her loving impact on  her family, friends, students, colleagues and me will never be forgotten. I will miss her dearly!

Carole was my best friend!!  We shared all of our life stories - the sad and the happy.  We were teachers together and she was always my role model.  She was such a great teacher and colleague.  I loved seeing the posted pictures of her life.  She had great friends and wonderful adventures.  I am so glad she had Bill and her wonderful family.  Rest in Peace, my friend.

Carole was the quintessential “little people” teacher and I had the pleasure of working with her at Rockledge Elementary. It was so clear to all of her colleagues, to her students, and to their grateful parents, she was a devoted educator who loved her career. 
We will miss your sweet smile and the laughter we shared. You will always be a part of the lives you touched. 


I was surprised to know her family spent summers in North Beach. The boardwalk is near my house and I would see her walking  there.  It was such a treat to talk with her.    Carole was a wonderful teacher and was always so kind.   She will be missed. 

Carole,  I will forever have so many fond/warm/fun memories of times together.  Peace to Bill and Carole's family and other friends.  

A treasured friend in Service Dog Project days tears of joy and laughter, just a blessing in this journey with you. Always a light.

Carole was a beautiful, vibrant member of the SDP CP community. She had a refreshing, personable way of interacting with everyone that made you feel as though you were sitting in her living room, sharing a chat over a cup of tea as you caught up on life. She was timeless and inspiring in her approach to her struggles. My deepest sympathies to her closest family and friends. She will be missed.

I am so sorry for your loss.  I have missed Carole since Christmas.  She maintained such a pleasant outlook while going through her struggles.  She was a brave delightful, kind person.  She will be missed.

Service Dog Project has lost yet another bright light this month. May you all gather and meet at the Bridge. Bless you each for your love lights  may they ever shine bright.

Dear Carole, 
As I write this, I am still somewhat in shock - I really thought you were going to beat this. 
Thirty+ years it has been since we first became neighbors and what a ride it has been. So many others have come and gone but you were always a constant - a reassurance that this was home. Your kindness over the years and generosity to others made you standout. You became a great-Auntie figure to Christian and treated him as family and I thank you for that. I will be certain that he learns cursive for you and continues his academic excellence to make you proud. 
I will miss our times chatting and sharing the latest news, your wise school teacher advice for my little guy, and your smile and laughter and stories about your kitties and squirrels. I will continue to put treats out for the deer who visit. Who do I call now when something happens here? 
Perhaps you can put in a good word for those of us still here. 
I am so grateful thatg you found love and companionship and that Bill was able to be there as your rock through the end.  I hope he and others will find solace in the fact that you were so loved. 
Thank you, my friend, as you continue your journey. We love you and miss you. 


Carole, your kind heart and generous spirit will be so missed. You’ve touched the lives of those youngsters you taught over the years and us oldsters who you guided to be more attuned to nature and to our furry companions. You’ll be so missed!
