Q’Jett Goodwin Boone, 78, of the Daniel Community in Smith County, passed away on January 12, 2020 in the St. Dominic Hospital. Q’Jett was the daughter of the late Clarence Elvie and Beulah Crimm. She was born June 16, 1941 in Scott County, Mississippi.
Mrs. Boone was a member of County Line Baptist Church. Her favorite scripture, Philippians 4:13, “ I can do all things through Jesus Christ who strengthens me.” Q’Jett was united in holy matrimony to George Daniel Boon on January 7, 1984 at Rock Bluff Baptist Church.
Q’Jett was preceded in death by her husband, Amos Dale Goodwin; her son, Dale Lee Goodwin; six brothers and four sisters. Survivors include her husband, George Daniel Boone; son, Earl Goodwin (Janis); daughter-in-law, Regina Goodwin; daughter, Georgia Carol Welch (Sammy); grandchildren, Charles Goodwin (Amber), Krystle McInnis (Larry), Jacob Goodwin (Andrea), and Caleb Goodwin; great grandchildren, Aubrey Blaire Risher, Thomas Daniel Goodwin, Freya Kolette McInnis, and Killian Jett McInnis.
Visitation will be held on Wednesday January 15, 2020 from 5:00 to 8:00 pm at Baldwin-Lee Funeral Home in Pearl, Mississippi. Graveside service will be held at Antioch-Steele Church Cemetery (Hwy 21) in Forest, Mississippi on Thursday, January 16, 2020 at 1:00 pm. Bro. Mickey Ferguson will officiate.
Pallbearers will be Larry McInnis, Jacob Goodwin, Caleb Goodwin, and Charlie Goodwin.
