Wade was born on September 9th, 1951 in Parsons, Kansas to Robert & Maxine Ross. He graduated high school from North Kansas City High School in 1969. Wade met Mary-Frances while stationed in Pensacola, FL in 1974, and they married on December 6th in 1975. After getting married, they moved to Maine while Wade was in the Navy. Wade & Mary-Frances moved to Kansas City, MO, in 1978 and in 2017 Wade retired from the United States Treasury department. Over 44 years, the couple welcomed 3 children and two grandchildren into their home. Wade’s children remember him as a funny, smart, hardworking and loving father who encouraged them to pursue their goals. He was a dedicated individual who loved crossword puzzles and who was passionate about music. He was a member of the First Christian Church of North Kansas City.
Wade is preceded in death by his parents Robert and Maxine Ross, and his older sister Janet Black.
Wade is survived by his wife, Mary-Frances; children, Jessica Ross, David (Joanna) Ross, and Amy (Beth) Krogmeier; grandchildren, Trevor Ross and Jay Krogmeier; siblings, Bob Ross and Sarah Perlingiero; as well as many nieces and nephews.
