Shirley Edna Doy Stefanik born October 30, 1931, passed away peacefully in her home on January 21, 2020 surrounded by loving family, friends, and prayer.

Many words can describe Shirley: generous, warm, kind, gentle, loving, and full of faith... Although she will be remembered most as Sister, Wife, Mother, Grandmother, Great Grandmother, Friend, and Matriarch.

Growing up, Shirley and her younger sister, Lois, would sneak down to the Church hand in hand, like sisters only could. On the same streets that the sun glistened off their blue and red bikes, when snow fell, they would cuddle up together in there hand-made igloos.

As dancing began to grow in the heart of Shirley, so did a young man by the name of Robert Stanley Stefanik (deceased 2009). Shirley and Bob found each other at a young age. Together they danced their way into love, holding hands walking through Riverside Park, and always smiling at each other. Life was ahead of them as they created their special song, "What a Wonderful World!"

Shirley and Bob were inseparable from hard days at their company, Florida Eagle, to making meals for the family overlooking Granite Lake, and making sure family always had a roof to call home. They always had an extra place at the table for someone who needed the warmth of family or needed a family dinner.

Shirley had such a bright light in her soul for life and family. Holidays seemed to always make her smile beam the brightest. Her smile grew as she watched her children, Mike, Lori, and Rick bring their families to the table, and year by year a leaf was added.

It was love and family that drove Shirley to be the constant, the heart and soul, and the great woman behind the great man. Shirley will be missed and loved by every person that her soul has touched and loved.

God will never find a woman more full of grace!

Sister – Lois Doy Setterberg

Children – Michael Robert Stefanik (deceased 2015), Lori Stefanik Kane, and Richard Stefanik.

Grandchildren – Robert Warren Stefanik, Michael Robert Kane & Wife Brittney Kane, Blair Watkins & Wife Katie Watkins, Rachel Stefanik (deceased 2018), and Jake Stefanik.

Great Grandchildren – Ryan Kane, Bradley Kane, Emily Kane, Connor Watkins, Elliot Watkins, Hayden Watkins, Novah Watkins, Gil Watkins, and Blaise Watkins.

The Florida Eagle Family, Jayme Stefanik, Miream Sierra, Frank Littlejohn, and others that always called her Mom!
