Lynn B. Rodgers, 66, of Victoria, passed away January 30, 2020 surrounded by his family. Lynn was born November 19, 1953 in Kenedy, TX to the late LaRae Blakeney Rodgers and Barney Rodgers. Lynn was an independent businessman in the metal recycling business for over 48 years. He loved spending time with his family more than anything but his second love was baseball and he was “one hell” of a player.
Lynn is survived by his wife of 45 years, Jamie Sparkman Rodgers; son, Tanner Rodgers of Victoria; daughter, Shannon Svetlik and husband, Thomas of Victoria; sister, Linda Baker and husband, Thomas of Wimberley; brother, Lane Rodgers and wife, Iris of Victoria; his grandchildren, Wyatt Rodgers, Sutton Svetlik, Sawyer Svetlik and Sloan Svetlik and many nieces, nephews and cousins.
Visitation will be Saturday, February 8, 2020 from 9-10 AM at Rosewood Funeral Chapel with a Celebration of Lynn’s life to begin at 10 AM.
