Cheri was one of my first childhood friends. We spent many great times together. She always had a great smile and was kind to everyone. We connected on Facebook a few years ago and she still had that smile. Sending her family much love and prayers. 

Cheri and I were second cousins. I finally had the privilege of meeting her at our cousin reunion in New Orleans four years ago. When we met, it felt like I had known her my whole life. We kept in contact and I grew to love her so much. I will miss our chats. She had wanted to come visit us in Colorado and I'm so sad that that can not happen. My thoughts and prayers are with Cheri's family.  I will miss her dearly. 

I’ve known Cheri my whole life and we were friends all throughout school! So many memories! I was happy for Facebook to be able to keep up with her and we chatted often. I’m so glad I got to see her a few years ago! She was one of the kindest people and such a beautiful person!! I’m so sad to hear of her passing! I’m praying for the family to have peace! Cheri has been and will forever be one of my very best friends. There are so many fun and wonderful memories of her that I will always cherish. I miss her already and she will continue to have a special place in my heart.  Sending love and prayers to all of her family and friends.

Cheri and I were friends through elementary, middle, and high school. She was always kind, caring, and possessed such a genuine heart. I’m so sorry to hear of her passing. Thoughts and prayers are with your family.

My heart is so heavy to hear about Cheri passing away.  I have so many great childhood memories with her.  We would play for hours in our rooms with barbie dolls, paper dolls, card games and board games.  We had so much fun all the time together.   She was one of my very best friends growing up. She is survived by her son Aaron Henry of Prairieville, father Bobby Marchand and wife Elizabeth of Acy, brother Bret Marchand and wife Johnice Henry of Acy, nephew Christopher Marchand and niece Victoria Marchand. Preceded by death by mother Ginger McAdams Marchand, brother Barret Marchand, paternal grandparents Claude and Jestine Marchand and maternal grandparents Gordon and Alice McAdams.
