Vaisa Fa'alepo Mamea, age 84, of Carson, California passed away on Sunday February 2, 2020 in Torrance, CA. Vaisa was born October 21, 1935 in American Samoa to her parents: Fa'Alepo Saveaena & Falefusi Asimama.
Vaisa is survived by her husband, Fetufou Mamea; daughter Marilyn Vaisa Fua; son Norman Fa'alepo Mamea; and daughter Bernice Feliuai Mamea; brother Fa'alepo Fa'alepo Jr..
Vaisa was preceded in death by: daughter Florence Fa'alepo Mamea. She leaves her legacy on this earth through her 7 grandchildren and 1 great-grandchild.
Visitation and Service for Vaisa will be held Friday, February 21, 2020 from 6:00 p.m. to 10:00 p.m. at Ist Samoan Church of Los Angeles UCC, 1749 W. 125th St., Los Angeles, CA 90047. Celebration of Life Service will occur Saturday, February 22, 2020 at 10:00 a.m. at 1st Samoan Church of Los Angeles UCC, 1749 W. 125th Street, Los Angeles, CA 90047. Interment to follow Saturday, February 22, 2020 at 12:00 p.m. at Green Hills Memorial Park, 27501 S. Western Ave., Rancho Palos Verdes, CA 90275.
