It's been 4 years today since that tragic day you went home your wings are ready but or hearts were not .  I never thought I would be living the rest of my life without you.  As the clock moves forward I realize that every day I get closer to a reunion between us. It's not the comfort I wanted but it's one I will have to live with..I miss you and I'm sorry this life was a hard one for you.  I know your no longer in pain or having the life drained of of you by ppl who have no  moral or emotional compass.  You gave and have given and you have listened to ppl and there problems . But now it's time to be with the angels your life here is done.  I miss you and I love you and forever the memory's we made will always live in my heart..

It's almost four years and you called out to me as you crossed my mind, thinking of you and always been one of the friends that stood out and gave the best hugs, as well as served up absinthe I enjoyed very much because you concocted it the best outside of the traditional ritual. You were so integral to friendship, community friendships, and music. I know you are always with us in spirit, yet also rest in paradise. Love you Dev!

I I work with a nervousness that I did not want to stay to come whether or not it happened today or it happened 3 years ago it doesn't change the fact of the pain that I'll never see you again they say time heals the heart. Tremendous my daughter is the easiest thing in the world but the most painful at the same time.  Your relent the things we used to do together and the times we went through good or bad.  She was always there for me.  27 years with her send like it was a blink of an eye.  But the love remains.  It's so hard not to relivet his day. Hey dolly. I really miss you. I really thought we had forever to hang out. I always thought when life slowed down we could be two wierd old ladies together. I'm glad I talked you a few weeks before you left but I cant help but be mad that i didnt make a point to see you. I had a love for you that i cant explain. When I went to the club she always had a nice smile and was a courteous person. When I talked to her she would listen to what I would have to say and give me positive feedback. She did all her duties at FAB as bartender in a serious manner. I don't read the bible much, but I got this message from someone they were talking about Lazarus how he really was not gone just sleeping same thing with Devann she is not gone just asleep. My condolences to the family she will be missed, but remember the good memories and you will see her again.

The day I met you was the very first all staff meeting for the original FAB crew. We instantly connected.  Since that day, we never stopped smiling, laughing, hugging, loving, and a whole lot of in between memories! Bring you a Starbucks,  a pizza slice, or just a good old visit, you always greeted me with a genuine warm hug and made me feel welcome.  I will miss you my girl and until we meet again. I did not know you personally, but you were a cousin of mine nonetheless. I would have liked to have known you, as by reading these memories left by your loved ones, you seemed like you were an amazing young woman, who was full of life. May you rest in peace, and may your family find it, too.

I remember your beautiful dark curly hair your fun and sassy attitude! I remember all those fun nights watching you  and your brother you introduced me to spongebob that I endured countless hours of  the pineapple house under the sea! I remember your contagious little laugh that would put a smile on anyone’s face! I will always remember your kindness even as a kid! I only wish we could have been closer in our older years I am glad you had so many people that love and adore you! May you rest in paradise my beautiful little cousin! 

We have shared soooooo many memories. But some of the best were when we would hang out and just laugh and spread love to our closet friends just because we can. Honestly the most beautiful kindest soul I have ever met in my entire life. Forever in my heart and never forgotten. I was blessed to know you for sure.

we grew up together. I may be 4 years older but you were my first best friend! Sitting here thinking of how much we played together and all the Barbie stories we had. Our “club house” our at grandma and Gary’s house. Playing Mario cart and thinking we were the best at it.  How We both loved Easter so much. I really wish I had pictures of us as kids to post. You were so spirited and so much fun. I will miss you and I love you so much!

I loved you from the moment I met you. You were such a powerful presence and you were felt everywhere you went. You brought joy and laughter to so much of my life. We were absolutely stupid and wild together. We always had a standing date to go get fancy cocktails at Lucy’s. I’m going to get one for you. I love you forever Devannka.

I remember meeting you in Band in middle school at Rio Vista always such a beautiful and sweet person. I remember we went to Six Flags for the Band competition, I was the only one from my section going, and you befriended me and let me hangout with you guys. It was nice reconnecting at Fab and talking about what we remember from school. You will be missed.

The joy of knowing you and loving you far exceeds the pain of losing you as great as that is.  I wouldn't give up a single moment. We were all blessed to have you in our lives.
