Mari Elizabeth Arabie Mears, 52, of Lake Charles passed away on February 7, 2020.

Mari Mears was born on July 21, 1967 in Lake Charles, LA to Robert and Shirley Arabie. She lived in Moss Bluff most of her life where she attended Sam Houston High School. She was a loving mother, daughter, sister, and friend.

Those left to cherish her memories are her daughter Erica Barnhart and husband Cody of Jenkins, MO, companion John (Peter Rat) Vita, sister Barbara Duplichan of Moss Bluff, LA, one grandson Walker Barnhart, and many nieces, nephews, and cousins.

She is preceded in death by parents Robert and Shirley Arabie.

Visitation will be held on Thursday February 13, 2020 at Hixson Funeral Home of Moss Bluff from 12pm till time of service. A Celebration of Life will be at 3pm on Thursday February 13, 2020 at Hixson Funeral Home of Moss Bluff. Cremation has been entrusted to Hixson Funeral Home. Words of comfort may be shared with the family at www.hixsonfuneralhomes.com
