Dear John we are writing on this bittersweet day to let  you and your family know that we still think of Jeannette. How could one forget her perpetual smile, her kind words when you met her and her ability to always make you feel welcome . We are happy to hear that you are down with the ´ Cranbrook Family’’. I am so sorry to learn of Jeanette’s passing. Like many other Mercer alumni, she too welcomed me warmly and with great kindness. She was a good friend to us all. LS

I'll always remember fondly waking up a many high school weekend mornings after a sleepover at Scott's house..and Jeanette would always make the best breakfasts. The sun always seemed to be shining and fresh fruit prepared, especially Red Delicious Apples which were crisp and colourful...Thank you for the memories, you were a special Mom......

It was with extreme sadness that we received the news and and wish to express our sincere condolences to her loved ones.
During the short period that I have known Jeannette, her exceptional beauty and equally awesome kindness impressed me instantly I wanted to become a close friend.  We planned on a foursome game and dinner which sadly never came to be.  I will miss her bubbly presence at Meadowbrook . Even though we are not able to attend the funeral our hearts and prayers will be with you in this time of sorrow.

Jeanette was such a wonderful colleague to work with and an absolutely delightful friend outside of work.  Our sincerest condolences to you John and all family members. 

Jeanette had such a special way to light up the room -- she'd gracefully embrace and had the ability to make you feel that there was no one else present when you spoke.   She was so proud of her family and I'd listen to my mom and her recount, compare and giggle swapping stories of  us raising our own kids, their grandchildren.   As an extended relative, it was oh, so natural to go to Uncle John's and Jeanette's house for holiday celebrations.     I loved that modern condo in Toronto -- as a teenager, visiting I always thought they were so fancy living off the energy of the city.  Fancy yes, humble yes, genuine always.   Together they made my parents so happy when they traveled the world together.  You could hear the happy memories in their voices as they recounted funny adventures.   Forever will Jeanette be missed.  I know you are still as graceful now as you will always be in spirit watching over us.      xo   Suzs

My deepest sympathy to the family and to you, John. I worked with both John and Jeanette years ago and have fond and good memories. This is very sad news. Strength and love going forward to the whole family.

I didn't know Jeanette for that long but after meeting her I felt drawn to her courage and positive attitude.  I felt like  I had known her for a long time.  She had a beautiful smile and was such an inspiration.  I want to offer my condolences to John and her entire family and friends.  She is no longer in pain.  I hope the wonderful memories you have will help you through this very difficult time.
