Emmett L. Patterson

Emmett L. Patterson, age 80 of Childersburg, Al, passed away on Friday, April 17, 2020 at his home. The family will have a private graveside service at Greenhill Memorial Gardens with Brother Darol Russell officiating of the local Jehovah Witness Congregation.

Mr. Patterson is survived by his spouse of 61 years; Joyce Patterson, Sons; Ron Patterson (Brenda), Luke Patterson (Jackie), and Roger Patterson (Niki), Daughter; Pamela Shelly (Jody). Multiple grandchildren and great grandchildren survive as well. Mr. Patterson was preceded in death by one daughter; Sheila Burnett.

Mr. Patterson retired from the textile field. He worked hard to provide for his family and was known for his honesty. He never met a stranger and loved to talk. He took care of his ailing spouse for the last 7 years with love and compassion. He was a devout Jehovah Witness and loved his congregation.

The family would like to express their appreciation to the local congregation of Jehovah’s Witnesses .
