Mateo Ruiz Cruz

Mateo Ruiz Cruz, Nació el 22 de Julio del 2015 en Corpus Christi con Hipoplasia de ventrículo izquierdo; sin duda un duro golpe para sus padres. Días después debido a su condición fueron enviaron al Texas Children Hospital, donde Mateo fue recibido con amor y tuvo la oportunidad de un transplante de corazón el 17 de agosto del 2015, esto fue un verdadero milagro pues Dios estaba dando nueva vida a Mateo para poder crecer junto a sus padres y hermano, amándose tanto que incluso los hermanos se hicieron cómplices de juegos y travesuras.

Mateo disfruto de una vida estable, con restricciones, cuidados, enfermeras y hospitales; pero a pesar de esto una vida alegre y feliz, enseñándonos que a pesar de las limitaciones podemos disfrutar y amar la vida intensamente.

En Mayo del 2019 presentó enfermedad coronaria, pero el siempre se mantuvo fuerte como todo un guerrero, cinco meses después el 25 de Octubre fue puesto en lista de espera, una espera preocupante y aterradora pues el tiempo continúa su curso empeorando su condición el 5 de Diciembre ingresando al hospital de emergencia, más sin embargo Dios nos confirmaba que aún no era el tiempo partir.

Los doctores lucharon por mucho tiempo para ayudarlo, siendo meses de larga espera, días buenos y otros muy complicados, sobre todo por la situación actual del COVID-19; pero a pesar de eso rendirse no era una opción por qué la fortaleza de Mateo nos sostenía e impulsaba para mantener la lucha día con día, junto al personal del Texas Children Hospital quienes se convirtieron en nuestra familia de corazón luchamos hasta el último instante.

El 14 de Mayo Dios sano a Mateo, dándole vida eterna con un corazón nuevo, llevándolo a un lugar mejor donde podrá ser libre, jugar y saltar en el agua como tanto le gustaba hacerlo.

Te amamos hijo con todo el corazón, eres lo mejor que nos pudo pasar el la vida pues nos enseñaste que aún con dolor podemos disfrutar y amar la vida que Dios nos da cada día.

Mateo Ruiz Cruz, He was born on July 22, 2015 in Corpus Christi with Hypoplasia of the left ventricle, certainly a heavy blow to his parents. Days later, due to his condition, we were sent to Texas Children Hospital, where Mateo was received with love and had the opportunity for a heart transplant on August 17, 2015. This was a true miracle since God was giving new life to Mateo in order to growing up alongside their parents and brother, loving each other so much that even the brothers became complicit in games and mischief.

Mateo enjoyed a stable life with some restrictions by the care of the nurses and hospital but despite this he lived a happy life, teaching us that despite the limitations we can enjoy and love life intensely.

In May 2019 he developed coronary heart disease but he always remained strong like a warrior. Five months later, on October 25 he was put on a waiting list, a worrying and terrifying wait as time continues its course worsening his condition on 5th December entering the emergency hospital, but nevertheless God confirmed to us that it was not yet time to leave.

The doctors fought for a long time to help him, being months of long waiting, good days and others very complicated, especially due to the current situation of COVID-19 But despite that, surrendering was not an option why the strength of Mateo supported us and encouraged us to continue the fight day by day, together with the staff of the Texas Children Hospital who became our family at heart, we fought until the last moment.

On May 14, God healed Matthew, giving him eternal life with a new heart, taking him to a better place where he could be free, play and jump in the water as he loved so much.

We love you son with all your heart, you are the best thing that life could happen to us because you taught us that even with pain we can enjoy and love the life that God gives us every day.
