He was born November 2, 1951 in Peoria, IL.
Surviving are his long time companion, Kate Leezer and his three children, Stephanie (Bill Sanders) Cox of Marquette Heights, Dawn (John) Cunefare of Mapleton, and Dennis Flaugher Jr. of Washington; two brothers, Doug and David Flaugher; nine grandchildren and 16 great-grandchildren.
He was preceded in death by his paternal grandparents, Ruby and Iven Flaugher; maternal grandparents, Edith and Marvin Tillery and a great-grandson, Dawson.
Dennis was a collector and dealer of antiques and collectables. He enjoyed the outdoors, gardening and landscaping.
Cremation will be accorded. Remmert Funeral Home is in charge of arrangements.
