Christopher Oginski

Christopher Noel Herbert Oginski of Dexter, Michigan, was born December 25, 1962 in Dearborn, Michigan to Donald and the late Shirley Oginski. He was one of 8 children. Christopher passed away peacefully in Ann Arbor, Michigan on May 19, 2020 at the age of 57.

Chris was the beloved husband and best friend of the late Patricia for 27 years until she passed in August of 2019. Together they raised two boys, Adam (Crystal Poertner) Goldberg, and Noah (Katie) Goldberg. Grandpa of Emily, Matthew, and Beau.

Chris was dedicated to his work. He was a Plant Manager in the automotive industry for most of his career life and he was currently working at Novares (formerly Key Plastics).

Chris was a 4th Degree member of the Knights of Columbus. He loved animals, especially his many, many dogs. He also had a love of his "outdoor pets". There was a few cranes and a dozen deer that would visit Chris daily to get treats. One deer in particular was special and Chris gave him the name "Buckey".

Chris enjoyed music and had a wide variety of genres' in his collection; everything from the Bloodhound Gang, Beastie Boyz, and Notorious B.I.G.

However, his passion was his family. The word "step" was not in his vocabulary...only family. He simply loved being a husband, father, grandfather, uncle, and friend. He will be deeply missed by many.

The family will receive guests for a visitation on Friday, May 22, 2020 from 11:00 AM to 5:00 PM at Harry J Will Funeral Homes, 37000 W. Six Mile Road, Livonia, Michigan 48152.

The visitation will conclude with a funeral service at 5:00 PM led by Reverend Mark Raitz.

In lieu of flowers, contributions in Christopher's memory may be made to Knights of Columbus at your local parish council.
