Elizabeth was born on May 23, 1941 in Plainfield, NJ to George and Pauline Jones. She was a child of God who loved a good Sunday service and gospel music. Although she had nine children of her own, she was the neighborhood mom and everyone loved “Ms. Betty.” Her smile would light up any room. She was a giver and never missed the chance to make you laugh. Everyone would always wonder how one could spoil all nine of her children. Well she did. Her strength was astounding and even with all of her responsibilities, she managed to attend classes at Essex County College. She was a true artist who loved to draw. She spent many hours drawing and loved to take art classes.
Elizabeth encouraged her children and grandchildren to always work hard and pursue their goals. She was so proud of her family and always longed to be around them. Her generosity was infectious, and she was a true example of a strong, independent women who made no excuses about life. She will forever be missed, but her spirit lives on! WE LOVE YOU!!!
