Antoine Zeno, Jr, 67, of Lafayette, passed away on Wednesday, May 27, 2020 at his residence. He was born to his late parents, Antoine Zeno, Sr. and Nola Zeno on December 22, 1952 in Maurice, LA. He enjoyed fishing, cooking, riding his bicycle, collecting shoes, and riding horses. Antoine loved his cats and the companionship they brought. He enjoyed getting to feed the neighbors and help in any way that he could. Most of all, he loved his family and spending time with his grandchildren.
He is survived by his wife, Wanda France of DeQuincy; three sons, Antoine Jones of Hot Springs, Arkansas, Antoine Zeno, III and wife Verna of DeQuincy, Joseph Zeno of DeQuincy; three daughters, Rosalind Zeno and husband Darryl Bowens of Orange, TX, Shanena Jones of Hot Springs, Arkansas, Anita Zeno of DeQuincy; brothers, Willie, Michael, Nelson, Floyd; sisters, Rose, Mable; along with 14 grandchildren.
Antoine is preceded in death by his parents; and one brother, Joseph Zeno.
A Graveside Service will be held at Community Cemetery on Wednesday, June 3, 2020 at 2:00pm, with Rev. James Harris officiating. Visitation will begin at 1:00pm on Wednesday, June 3, 2020 at Hixson-Snider Funeral Home in DeQuincy until the procession to the cemetery.
