Patricia Viola Thompson, 77, passed away at home surrounded by her loving family on May 28, 2020. She was born in Plymouth, NC to the late Ernest and Hazel Frame. She was a member of the Virginia Beach Free Will Baptist Church for 50 years. Her hobby and favorite pastime was saving souls. If anyone was sick or in need she was there to help. Pat enjoyed cooking and sewing, but mostly enjoyed taking care of her family.
Left to cherish her memory is her loving husband of 60 years, George Preston Thompson; two sons, Bryan P. Thompson and his wife Debbie of GA, and Kevin W. Thompson and his wife Christina of Virginia Beach; brother Ernest Frame of Virginia Beach ; sister Faye Gilbert of Virginia Beach; in two grandchildren Preston Thompson and his wife Stephanie and Ryan Thompson and his wife Jordan all of GA; and two great grandchildren, Owen Thompson and Ada Thompson. Pat was predeceased by a sister, Carol Thompson.
The family will receive friends from 5:00-7:00 PM, on Monday, June 1, 2020 at Rosewood-Kellum Funeral Home. A graveside service will be held at 2:00 PM on Tuesday, June 2, 2020 at Rosewood Memorial Park. In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made to the Mission Church in Virginia Beach.
