Jaime Lynn Cairns

Jaime was born on October 25, 1981 to Tim and Debbie Thomas in Visalia. Always the hometown girl, she attended Veva Blunt Elementary, Green Acres Middle School and Redwood High School, where she was a cheerleader. She went on to study at College of the Sequoias before taking a job at Lane Engineers. Jaime later became a teller at Tucoemas Credit Union where she met the love of her life.

In 2001, Jaime met Doug Cairns and they became inseparable from that point on. They married in 2005 and had their first child, Jackson, in 2012. Their second child, Clarice, was born in 2015.

When Jackson was still very young, Jaime decided that she would home-school her children. She put her whole heart into the nurturing and teaching of her children, whom she loved so much.

Jaime was passionate about food and cooking and spent countless hours preparing delicious “taste treat sensations” for her family.

Jaime deeply loved her family first and foremost and is survived by her loving husband Doug, her children, Jackson and Clarice; parents, Tim and Debbie Thomas; brother, Andrew Thomas; grandparents, Lyle and Carol Carr and in-laws Bill and Juanita Cairns. Also, sister-in-law Caitlyn Brock (Austin), brother-in-law Greg Cairns, nieces, nephews, aunts, uncles, cousins and very dear friend Alicia Erwin Grim.

A Graveside Service will be held at Visalia Public Cemetery District 1300 W. Goshen Ave., Vsialia, CA on Friday, June 26, 2020 at 9:00 am.
