He left the farm and had many occupations but retired as a cooling tower pattern maker for The Marley Company. He married the love of his life, Mary E. Seeley in 1943 (died 1990) with whom he had 4 daughters. Leaving behind: children; Diana Furness and her husband Tony of Minden, Nevada, Janet Moll and her husband Dave Ashworth of Dallas, Texas, Nanci Moll and her husband Darryl Brooks of Edmond, Oklahoma and Kathy Moll of Birmingham, Alabama. Granddaughter Erica Hironimus and her husband Michael, and 2 great grandsons, Nathan and Dylan of West Linn, Oregon.
Dad was a man of many talents. He could problem solve and repair or build anything. He had a cabinet building business at one time, and even built a house. He had the mind of an engineer and was very talented in that way. He built many beautiful pieces of furniture and cabinetry for his home. He played fiddle, guitar, mandolin and harmonica. He and mom loved to dance. Dad never met a stranger when he would go to a store, the bank or place of business and is remembered for his sense of humor. We will miss you dad but now you are with your beloved.
There will be a private family graveside service with interment in Olathe Memorial Cemetery.
