Glen was born in Queens, New York, the son of Judson and Mary (Travis) Hollis, and was a graduate of North West High School in Indianapolis.
Mr. Hollis owned and operated A-1 Auto Sales in Greencastle for many years. Glen proudly served during the Vietnam Era in the United States Navy from 1970 to 1976. He was a member of American Legion Post #58. He liked to roller skate and surf both focused on balance which was important to him.
Survivors include his wife of 45 years, Lois Hollis; two sons, Glenn Hollis, (fiancé-Rebecca Hurt), and Jarrod Hollis, (wife-Megan); a brother, David Hollis, (wife-Trish); a sister, Marsha High, (husband-Wayne); six grandchildren, Tristan, (wife-Darcy), Keridan, Graci, Koa, Keanu, and Nora Hollis; and nieces and nephews, Katrina, Sabrina, Jeremy, and Stephanie.
He was preceded in death by his mother.
At his request a cremation will take place and the family will plan a Celebration of Life in his honor at a later date.
