Eunice M. (Foley) Kobobel, 85, of Greeley. Eunice passed away on Thursday, July 9, 2020, at North Colorado Medical Center, in Greeley. Eunice was born on November 3, 1934, in Fourway near Fort Lupton, to Leroy and Helen (Sheets) Foley.
She attended Fourway Elementary until the age of ten when the family moved to Wiggins. She helped out on the farm and attended the local school. In 1952, she graduated from Wiggins High School. After high school, she went to California and studied nursing. She received an associate’s degree and was a certified LPN, at the same time she was working for PAC bell to pay for schooling. When she finished her schooling she came back to Colorado.
Eunice met Philip Kobobel in 1956, and they were married on November 2, 1958 in Greeley. Eunice worked at Mountain Bell as an operator. She held a few different positions in the phone company up until she retired in 1990. She enjoyed her retirement to the fullest.
Eunice is survived by her daughters, Phyllis and her husband, Carl Gearheart of Kiev, Ukraine, Pamela Boudloche of Monroe, Louisiana, and Brenda Kobobel-Troy of Atkinson, Nebraska; sister, Ruby Bristol of Fort Morgan, Colorado; as well as nine grandchildren, four great grandchildren, and many beloved nieces and nephews.
She was preceded in death by her husband of 58 years, Philip Kobobel; her parents, Leroy and Helen Foley, as well as three sisters and five brothers.
