Irena Chmielewski

It is with heavy hearts the family announces the sudden passing of Irena at John Noble Home on Saturday, July 11, 2020 at the age of 84. Beloved wife of the late John Chmielewski (2004). Loving mother of Bozena, Leszek (Marjory), Maria (Marcello), and Anna; cherished Babcia to Johnny, Adam, Alex, Alexis (Justin), Sophia, and James. Family will receive friends at Thorpe Brothers Funeral Home & Chapel (96 West St.) on Wednesday, July 15 from 6-9 p.m. with Rosary at 8 p.m. Mass of Christian Burial from St. Joseph’s Roman Catholic Church (235 Brant Ave.) on Thursday July 16 at 10 a.m. followed by interment at Holy Cross Cemetery, Paris. Donations in memory of Irena may be made to the John Noble Home (long term care) or Parkinson Canada.
