Jose,

I just found out 2 days ago you passed. College would not have been the same without you. Me and danielle and you spent hours studying for physics, organic chem and mycology. We even encouraged each other to pursue research with the same professor. My heart is broken you had so much you wanted to accomplish. You were smart and kind and always willing to help out. My prayers go out to the family. 

Words can’t explain the feeling I have with having to say goodbye to you. But then again I know I will see you again soon. You were the older brother I never had and just know that I will always be here for your family no matter what! Love you cuz!

It’s hard to understand that I won’t see you around anymore but I know you’re at rest and that brings me peace.  Your smile and kindness will always be in my memory and heart.

You were the last person I'd ever thought of saying goodbye to. The day I found out you were gone my heart could not understand it and I cried like I've never cried in my life. But you touched alot of lives before you left, including my own. My heart is at peace knowing you're at rest and have gone home. The memory of you will always be in my heart. All the stories and pictures from those times we spent together growing up. And though at times we may have grown apart. I still got the opportunity to see your kindness shine and glow. Where all else fades your love will be legend and I'll carry it with me until it's my time to go home. 💙

Jose, mi cosa, cuanto te amo! Te extraño tanto qué no ahi palabras para explicarlo. Se qué no va hacer facil no tenerte a mi lado pero le doy gracias a Dios por todos los 9 años qué me dio a tu lado. Yo se qué desde el cielo siempre me cuidaras y por siempre viviras en mi corazon. Nunca pense estar en esta posision sin ti. Siempre me enseñaste hacer fuerte, pero te necesito aqui! Dios necesitaba a un angel hermoso como tu a su lado. Eras el mejor hijo, hermano, amigo, pastor de jovenes pero sobre todo el mejor compañero de vida qué yo siempre le pedi a Dios pasar el resto de mi vida con. Aunque nunca nos casamos, yo se qué yo era el amor de tu vida como tu el mio. Me lo demostraste siempre y hasta ahorita puedo decir qué te siento junto a mi mas qué nunca. Estabas tan feliz planiando nuestra boda y siempre me decias “quiero qué sea lo qué siempre te imaginaste y mas.” Siempre pensabas en todos antes qué tí, dabas tu tiempo a todos con una sonrisa grande. Extrañare verte jugar soccer y mirar partidos juntos. Me enseñaste todo el mundo y me diste las mejores memorias qué siempre llevare en mi corazon. Eras tan humilde y sensillo con el corazon mas grande de todos. Estoy tan orgullosa de ver sido la persona con la qué querias pasar el resto de tu vida con pero sobre todo por siempre amar a Dios antes qué a todos. Nunca olvidare tus palabras “somos el mejor equipo Dios, tu y yo.” Teniamos tantos planes, pero como me decias “el tiempo de Dios es perfecto.” 🤍🕊 Estoy feliz porque tu savias y siempre te dije todo lo que escribi.

My loving dear brother, the one that even after you have gone to be with the lord has given me strength. I can’t express how proud I am of you and how greatful I am to have you always by my side. Your memory will never be forgotten. Always a true blessing. You’re leaving  behind a legacy of love. Anyone who knows you junior knows you saved and touch so many hearts. You had a purposeful life where you served the lord and became a youth pastor. I will always  be  grateful for the time I had with my loving brother.

I met Jose my freshman year at Texas state, while I was studying with friends for an exam we had the next day. It was biology, his major. As my friends and I were wrong, he’d help & guide us. We somehow all began to hangout and study, going to the dinning halls, I’d always use my student card to cover his food. And one day he gave me a Starbucks gift card lol. He was always so thoughtful, caring, and helpful. He was currently helping me finish my application for PA school. Again, always looking out & helping. I’m truly blessed to have known such a great guy!! 

To the family, I keep you all in my prayers. I can’t imagine what you all are going through, but I pray God guides your heart. 

Gracias por todo lo que hiciste por mis hijos y tantos jóvenes, es grande el legado que dejaste a tan corta edad, fuiste una persona maravillosa, siempre dispuesta a ayudar a los demás, pero sobre todo a servir al Señor, es muy dura tu partida aun sabiendo que estás en un lugar mejor, Descansa en Paz, te extrañaremos.

I thank God for giving me the privilege to have had you as a cousin, a role model, and a friend. I'll never forget our memories of our summers, the trips, the birthdays, holidays, and times we got to be together. You would always let me know how proud I made you and I promise to live my life in a way to keep making you proud. You are a example of how much a kind heart, a love for God, and even a smile can impact the lives of many. I will miss you deeply, but I know you are in heaven looking over us from this point on. Until we meet again, I love you.

Mi niño Hermoso se que no va ser fácil no tenerte a mi lado pero le doy gracias a Dios por todo el tiempo que te dejo conmigo estos 27 ańos. Fueron inolvidables eras el nińo más amoroso y siempre cuidabas de mi. Siempre cuidabas de tu hermanos, de tu papi como tú mentor. Gracias por amarnos y por ser el mejor hijo, hermano, novio y mentor para cada jovencito. Prometo estar siempre pendiente de Aimet. Estoy orgullosa de ti, de todo lo que hiciste pero sobre todo que siempre amaste a Dios antes que a todos. Gracias mijo por servir a Dios por aver tomado la mejor decisión de tu vida. José zamarripa no es un adiós sino hasta pronto siempre te admiraba por todo el amor Asia tus padres y a tus hermanos y alas personas que te rodeábamos era un joven ejemplar y se que dejasteis mucha semilla sembrada así tiempo lo vamos a verte voy a extrañar pero siempre te voy a recordar mi niño adepto la voluntad de Dios descansa en paz.

Junior te fuiste repentinamente dejando un gran vacío pero entendemos que Dios así lo quiso. Te recordaremos con mucho amor en nuestros corazones porque nunca te olvidaremos.

We had just met Jose, but he was one of those special people who you  just felt you  had already know for a long time. We considered him a very great friend. He will never be forgotten in our hearts.

Jr tocaste las vidas de muchas personas eras un muchacho alegre y muy amable. Como mejor amigo de Elan tuve el privilegio de conocerte. Te fuiste dejando un gran vacío pero nunca serás olvidado. Y doy gracias a Dios x haber tenido el privilegio de haberte conocido. 🌹

Jose was a great guy. He made me want to change my way and want to follow Gods way. Not only was he my youth class teacher, but he was like a brother and someone I really looked up to. He always wanted us to be happy and be grateful for what we had. I’m never going to forget what he implanted in my heart. He is always going to be remembered for what he did for all of us. 

Jose was a kind soul and a great man to everyone. Myself included, I was blessed to be able to play soccer, and go to pluckers, and know how great he was. He and I would always crack jokes at each other about our difference in soccer teams. But I always and will always respect him. May he rest easy in Heaven. I know God has plans for you up there my friend. Until we meet again. 

Un joven con un corazon Grande y extraordinario, apasionado por to Bella familia y admirable la manera que cuidara de sus hermanos y Padres amorosos. Sabemos que es un hasta pronto, se es dificil de entender porque el reloj celestial marca la hora antes, pero sabemos que Dios esta en control y cuidado de cada detalle. Let me tell you about my friend Jose.

Jose was a genuinely kind person who was a friend to everyone. I know he loved his fiance, siblings and family, and soccer. I'm grateful to gave known him for the short time we worked together. I had the opportunity to help proofread his letter of intent to become a Physician Assistant. In his letter he spoke of his experiences going on mission trips, volunteering to read to children at Dell Children's Hospital, and his journey to find a career that fulfilled his need to help others. He always pitched in to buy coworkers Tiff's Treats for their birthdays, and even got me a green tea as a goodbye gift when I moved away. He was kind.

We lost a great person too soon, and he will be remembered as a positive light in this world.
