Dearest Deborah, David & Michelle, 

Although we don’t have a specific memory to share about Aunt Fran we wanted you to know how wonderful she was.  She was warm, engaging, humble and as sweet as could be. Fran will surely be missed.

Grandma was an amazing lady. I have lots of great memories while visiting in the summers in Michigan and here in Florida. She was always ready with a ham in the fridge and snacks and Vernors for all of us to devour and talk about our life’s and futures.  She will always have a special place in our heart. I’m positive they are in heaven now putting some miles on some new bicycles and playing a endless round of golf together! 

Before I got married me, my mom, and my best friend traveled to Michigan to stay with my grandma for my wedding shower. We had so much fun sitting around the table laughing and eating. Once you sat down at Grandmas table the food just kept coming out of the fridge and even though we always said we didnt need it, we ate anyways. I used to love when Grandma visited Florida and we would take our luncheons to Olive Garden and our shopping trips to Bealls so she could use her coupon on her favorite bras. But my favorite was learning how to make canolis from her. She liked to spoil her great grand kids as well with gifts and just watch them play and laugh. I always looked forward to the comfy socks and pistachios she would send for Christmas. She knew the good stuff in life. 

My grandma was a beautifully strong women. No matter what life threw at her she just carried on like nothing could knock her down. I will forever miss our monthly dinners, which included 10 different snacks, a 3 course meal and at least 2 different desserts. I will miss how she sat quietly in her chair, wide smile on her face, watching her family chat and play before her. Nothing made her happier than having her children, grandchildren and great grandchildren over to eat. Although I will miss you here with us I find comfort knowing you are once again riding bikes with grandpa Wille. I love you!

I had the unforgettable pleasure of meeting Frances for the first time, last year, at the baptism for her great grandson (my grandson) Ethan.  I felt an immediate connection with Frances and found her to be a most delightful lady.  I was privileged for having known her, even though only a short time.  I am asking God to wrap the family in His love, and to comfort them with the precious memories that they hold so dear.  

Aunt Fran was so much fun! Once a boyfriend and I went to spend a Sunday afternoon with her and Uncle Chuck and we made pitchers of pink squirrels and got so wasted! It was the year I turned 21! I have to this day cherished that memory and still love pink squirrels! She was always there for me and my family! We will all miss her!
