Daddy had drove 18 wheelers most of his life. I remember he'd come home with stories but the most common one was about how he and John Downs were always running from the buzzards and teasing each other saying "They're coming for you man". After hearing this story quite often we started joking with daddy when we were outside  or driving somewhere and saw a buzzard. We'd say they found ya daddy HIDE! Then one day we found a goofy buzzard and brought it home and placed it on the table in his spot. He thought it was funny and kept it as a center piece for quite a while.   We Love and Miss You Daddy.

I remember one of the quirky ways my dad would get our attention growing up was to throw a raspberry ( tongue emoji) from the other end of the house. Wynnona was always the first to respond with a spitting raspberry of her own LOL. This fun game went on even into our adult lives. Once we all moved out the game paused , but when my parents moved next door to me and Bubba the game started all over , just a little different . This time when we would be outside on our own properties which was acreage for us both, to get our attention my dad would "HOOT " like and owl. I would respond back the same so he would know I heard him. Thus a new tradition was born-now we just need to teach my mom the HOOTING game.LOL

I remember when my Dad and Uncle Pat were worried that this big oak tree was going to fall on the house if we got another good storm..... SOOOO they decided to cut it down to keep us all safe. ;D Weelllllll Let me tell ya what happened. " The Tree Fell On The House!" Not sure exactly what went wrong LOL but my Grandma Beadles (their mom) was sitting on the couch in the living room with the dog in her lap and thought we just had an earthquake. It was scary to say the least. lol

Daddy was the one that taught us girls our work ethics , whether it was clearing land , building a corral, roofing a house and even how to safely maintain our cars ( oil changes, flat tires, what to do if it over heats etc.) He was a good dad by making sure his girls would be safe and could take care of ourselves.

My Daddy "Wild Bill" was such a wonderful and fun loving man. He never met a stranger, and had such a big and giving heart. He would bring b-day and Christmas presents to the girls at Jack-n-the box. He always carried a pack of gum in his pocket to give out-even though he didn't chew it. He was goofy but also very stern when needed. He taught me a lot over the years and through all the ups and downs I feel one of the most important things he taught me was to Never Quit -Never give up, and make sure everything you do - do it with pride for what people see is a reflection of you. Always be kind to others cause you never know when or how you'll see them again. I will GREATLY MISS Him!    Love You Dearly Daddy. 

You know how everyone says how Daddies are so protective of their daughters, well my Daddy was no exception. One day we were swimming enjoying the day (my sisters and I minding our own business).My dad would look out the back window every now and then to check on us. Only this day he stood at the back door longer than he normally did. (Remember I said we lived in the woods in another story.) Well, next thing we know my dad came running out the back door with a shotgun in hand, ran out the side gate and back into the woods . Apparently there were some neighbor boys that found out there were 3 girls at the end of the road with a pool. They would sneak through the woods to spy on us through the back fence. My dad caught one and told him he better not ever catch them back there again, he was so scared LOL. Of course we 3 nosey little girls had to pop our heads over the back of the fence to see what was going on.  We never saw those boys again.

For Daddy always being the one to scare everyone else all the time ( his daughters , nieces, nephews and even grandchildren) by doing silly things like wearing a Hulk mask , sneaking up on you to even putting shaving cream all over his face and going after the little ones. It was really fun to see him finally get scared senseless ( even though it scared us too lol). We were working on trimming underbrush from around trees and trails when a snake fell out of a tree onto his shoulder. A REAL SNAKE!!  He grabbed that snake and slung it so fast we were all running in every direction. If I remember it was a hog nose snake thank God. 

One of Daddy's most favorite things to do was scare the BeJeezus out of us. I remember watching a vampire movie with him , I think it was Salems Lot or something . But we were all cramped in  his recliner scared. It was pitch black outside and he snuck out the back and went around to the front of the house to scratch on the screens. I don't think we've ever screamed so loud before in our lives, then was fighting for the one bathroom ha ha ha. I think our all time favorite was Boogie in the Dark game though. We didn't have street lights and we lived in the woods on a dead end street. So it would get so dark you couldn't see your hand in front of your face.  We'd always play it when the electricity went out. We'd creep around the house trying to find each other with out making a sound. EEEEEEEWWW it's giving me chills just remembering the scary fun! LOL

Favorite day of the week? I do believe Saturday was ours and Daddy's favorite day . It always started off with a race..... to the TV.  Daddy always seemed to win though which was good with me cause he liked to watch the "good " cartoons "LOONEY TUNES"! Then we'd get to go help him work in the yard. I looked forward to that too (no, really I did). By evening it was time for a good SCI-FI movie such as Tarzan, Godzilla , any monster movie and even wrestling was some of our fave family times. During the week it was The Carol Burnett Show, Hogan's Heroes, Mash etc.  We always made sure to catch the Disney show of the week also.  There were so many more I know I'm missing. I really enjoyed our family time.  Miss ya Daddy

Daddy LOVED to fish.  He loved it so much he joined a Monster Fisherman Club. Every Summer they would have Tournaments in Galveston Bay. We'd get to go and camp at Thousand Trails and hang out at the beach collecting sharks teeth and popping jellyfish that washed up on shore until it was weigh in time. We'd wait for him at the pier to see all the monsters everyone caught. It was amazing to see so many Huge monsters that live in the ocean.  One of daddy's buddies gave me a set of Tiger Shark jaws. (Still have them) LOL

I remember one of our trips to Ohio and Illinois my dad did not go . It was just us girls , my Mom and my Aunt Donna I believe. It was my birthday week  and I really didn't understand why Daddy didn't go with until we got back home. My Dad built me the "Best" bedroom ever! It was bunkbeds with a  zoo theme. I got top bunk, Miriam was bottom.  I wish I could find a pic of the finished product, but I still have the magazine pic he took it from. He did even better than the pic I feel 'cause I had more leaves. I LOVED that bed! **Bonus**  My  cat had kittens that week we were gone. So along with an awesome vacation and a Awesome new bed I also got kitties for my birthday that year.  YAY me ! one of my best birthdays ever! Love You Daddy.

 Mr. Beadles through his wife Merry Jane who is such a blessing to know. Bill was  such an honorable loving caring husband. I thought that he showed such an incredible Inner strength of loving kindness that was felt while in his presence.  Bill will be greatly missed.
  May God richly bless his family.

I always enjoyed getting all of the Beadles siblings together during family reunions and I think I did that twice. I am so happy that I got to know my great uncles and aunts and you were one of them. Miss you and I love you. RIP

My heart goes out to the family. I have so many fond memories of your dad. We always had such a great time at your house. He was definitely a sweet and tolerant man to put up with all of our shenanigans ie.... sleep overs, late night pillow fights and constant swimming to name a few. Prayers to your family.

I remember another vacation we went on was to Ohio to visit Aunt Patricia "Daddy's Sister". Once we got there we all decided to go to Maine  for some fresh Lobster, YUM! That "yum" was not from me LOL . That was our "the girls" first time trying lobster. Everyone liked it but me. I remember we all wore these big plastic bibs with a giant red lobster on it, and us kids had to sit at a different table than the adults. Needless to say there was fun to be had trying to eat the  lobsters. On our way back we swung by Niagra Falls.

Anytime we went on vacation dad always "had" to drive. On one occasion our final destination was Disneyland in California. We made numerous stops before getting there. One of the stops was Carlsbad Cavern, New Mexico. We went through the whole Cavern with Daddy carrying me "Miriam" on his back only to find a daycare at the end. We made it there and back home in just one week due to  Dad's military regimen.

We want to share a few fun short stories of growing up with our dad.  For starters it must have been really hard being the only male in a house with 4 females and only ONE  bathroom !  We were always walking in on the other and then yelling " FROG ON THE THRONE!"

I send the family my love during this time. I wish all of you strength, but above all peace.  I recall the many, many days spent with this family as a young child, including crazy fun memories after the pool was installed!! The friendships between us kiddos while attending Bethany Lutheran Elementary and the memories stay in my heart and mind forever.  Rest in peace, Mr. Bill.
