On September 14, 2020, Rafael Melendez passed away. He was the beloved husband of Luzmila Melendez; devoted father of Giovanna Melendez, and Aldo Melendez and his girlfriend Angela Capan; loving grandfather of Scarlett Hott. Rafael is survived by three brothers and one sister in Peru; he was predeceased by two brothers.

Services and interment will be private. Those desiring may make a memorial donation in Rafael’s name to the American Heart Association, 7272 Greenville Avenue, Dallas, TX 75231.
