Anthony J. Timpanaro, "Tippy", 69, passed away suddenly on Wednesday September 23, 2020. Born and raised in Bayonne, where he resided until he moved to Manchester in 2018 with his wife, Carmen. Anthony worked for the USPS for 38 years before retiring in 2009.
Anthony was an incredibly proud father. His children and his wife were his world and he will be missed immensely. He loved being with his family, was a diehard NY Yankees and Giant fan, and proud umpire through his retirement. He also enjoyed playing bocce ball, bowling, and was a member of the Elks Club of Bayonne, where he had also served as the Exalted Ruler.
Anthony is survived by his devoted wife Carmen, his loving children; Amy and her partner Mark Kart, Lauren, David and his wife Lia, Joseph and his fiancée Imani Podhradsky, her children, Noah and Naila, and Anthony and his wife Laura, his beloved grandchildren; Quinn, Julia, and Collin, and his dear sisters, Nancy Wentworth and Antoinette Olesky.
Visitation will be held on Tuesday September 29, 2020, from 4-8 pm, at the Anderson & Campbell Funeral Home, 3010 Ridgeway Road, Manchester, NJ 08759. A Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated on Wednesday September 30, 2020, at 10:45 am, at St. Henry RC Church, 82 W 29th St., Bayonne, NJ 07002, with interment to follow at Holy Name Cemetery, Jersey City, NJ.
