When we were kids we played together a lot. As a grown man he always had a smile on his face . He loved his family and especially his Momma Leona. I will see him again one day and we will catch up. Love you Teddy. Praying for the family. 💕💕💕🙏🙏🙏🙏😥

Always had kind words and something funny to say.  I will miss you until I see you in Heaven 

We always had fun times running all over Huntington ... bare footed on those hot paved roads with dirt between our toes!  Love you Ted, will see you later! 

I did not get the privilege of growing up with you even though we were cousins.  I’ll never forget the times I did get back to Arkansas to see all of  you. We had some good times.  Teddy was taken away  way to soon. Prayers for all of your family. ❤️

So sorry to hear of Teddy’s passing. He was a great guy...dependable, loyal, and always found a way to make ya laugh, even at times when you didn’t feel much like smiling. He was just a “ good ol’boy” and will be missed.

I was driving up to Northwest Arkansas Last night. I was remembering all the times we had running the NWA route for a while. We laughed, prayed, told stories every Thursday. Those were good times! Ted will be missed by a lot of people! He loved all his family and talked about them always!  Thank you Ted for all the freak memories. Family Know that we are praying for yall as you go through this time of Loss. 

I worked with Ted at glidewell I had a overnight route always looked forward to helping him on Thursday mornings in little rock with his route in the evenings I would see him at the greenwood walmart we would stand and talk for ever lol my family and I will deeply miss him very much you couldn't ask for a better friend. 

I went Glidewell to put applications in and meet Ted and he told me a joke that day and we got hired same day and we had a route 2 days a week in Little Rock and became good friends and he was so funny he had a joke or 2 or  3 maybe more and I miss my friend like everyone else and someday soon we meet again up in heaven until that great day RIP TED...😇😇

Teddy leaves behind his mother; Leona; a wife of eighteen years, Robin Slate; three daughters, Bobbie Moore (Rusty), Robin Bishop and Jenny Slate (Trista); a son, Teddy Slate, Jr. (Bonnie); eighteen grandkids and one great grandchild; two special little girls; numerous nieces, nephews, great nieces and great nephews, great great nieces and nephews; a brother, Eddie Slate; his Glidewell family and many friends.
