Memorial Services celebrating the Life of Katherine A. “Kathy” Groves 69 of Palm Coast will be held on Saturday, October 24, 2020 at 11:00 AM in the chapel of Craig-Flagler Palms Funeral Home, 511 Old Kings Road S. Flagler Beach with Rev. Harry Gilman officiating. A reception will follow the services. Friends are invited to visit with family on Saturday from 10:00 AM until the time of services. Kathy, a resident of Palm Coast since July 2008 coming from Reston VA. Passed away on Sunday, October 11, 2020 in the Stuart F. Meyer Hospice House, Palm Coast. She was born in Bay City MI on January 10, 1951 a daughter of the late Charles and Eileen Howell Hamm. Kathy was a volunteer with Flagler Volunteer Services, a member of the Red Hat Society of Palm Coast and the Flagler County Kiwanis Club. She enjoyed spending time with her family, traveling and cruising. She is survived by her husband of 27 years, Oral E. Groves, two daughters, Jennifer Brooks and her husband Derek of Williamsburg VA, Sara Pham and her husband Quan of Jacksonville FL, a son, Steven Groves and his wife Kimberly of Salisbury MD, three grandchildren, Cecilia, Emily and Arlo, two brothers, Robert Hamm and his wife Nina of Bay City MI and Arthur Hamm and his wife Melissa of Palm Coast and several nieces and nephews. The family suggests in lieu of flowers, memorial contributions be made to Flagler Volunteer Services, PO Box 353755, Palm Coast FL 32135 or www.flaglervolunteer.org designated for "The Giving Store" where Kathy enjoyed being a volunteer. Arrangements are in the care and trust of Craig-Flagler Palms Funeral Home.
