Edna Christine Shofner 86, of Louisville, passed away Wednesday, October 28, 2020. She was the former Edna Cissell, devoted member of Minors Lane Baptist Church, member of TOPS & KOPS, and also member of the Red Hat Society.
She was preceded in death by her husband of 49 years, Terry, son, Jerry, parents, John & Katie Cissell, brothers & sisters. She leaves to cherish her memory, her daughter, Joni Brady, sons, Scott Shofner (Kathy), John Shofner, William Shofner (Jessica), sister, Virginia Hurt, brother, Ray Cissell, 10 grandchildren & 9 great grandchildren. Visitation for Edna will be 2-8pm Sunday, November 1, 2020 at Fairdale-McDaniel Funeral Home 411 Fairdale Road and visiting will be 9am until time of service on Monday. A Celebration of Life will be 10:30am Monday at the funeral home with burial in Resthaven Memorial Park. In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to Minors Lane Baptist Church in her memory. In keeping with restrictions for Covid 19, wear mask and social distance at all times during the services.
