Funeral service for William Albert Collier, 98, of Anniston will be 1 pm Thursday, November 19, 2020 at Gray Brown-Service Chapel with Rev. Don Sills officiating. Burial will follow in Forestlawn Gardens. The family will receive friends from 12 - 1 pm Thursday at the funeral home.
Survivors include his nieces, Ruth Thomas, Betty George and Margaret Moss, nephew, Doug Collier, several great nieces and nephews.
Mr. Collier is preceded in death by his wife, Thelma Argo Collier and parents, Joseph and Foney Collier.
Pallbearers will be Donnie Thomas, Daniel Thomas, J.C. Lewis, Jim Lewis, Logan Lewis and John Argo.
Mr. Collier was a native and lifelong resident of Calhoun County. He was a member of Woodland Park Baptist Church. Mr. Collier was retired from the Anniston Army Depot and also owned Collier Grocery along with his wife. Mr. Collier served in the Army Air Corps during WWII.
