On November 15, 1967 Wayne married the love of his life Connie Ellen Everett. Before his passing, they celebrated their 53rd wedding anniversary. Wayne was a proud veteran of the Unites States Army and was stationed in Germany during his years of service. Upon his return from the military, he joined his father, WC Meiser, and his brother, David Meiser, in business where they owned and operated Meiser’s Feed Store and Egg Farm until 2008. Being a workaholic, he then joined another family business working for his brother-in-law, Darrel Husted, at Drill Right Technologies.
Wayne enjoyed watching Notre Dame football with his family, raising livestock on his farm, riding ATV’s and most of all spending time with his eight grandchildren.
Wayne is preceded in death by his father WC Meiser; mother Bertha Meiser; and son Christopher Meiser.
Wayne is survived by his wife Connie Meiser; son Leland and daughter-in-law Christy Meiser; daughter Shannon Meiser-Sartori; son Michael and daughter-in-law Melanie Meiser; his eight grandchildren: Jade Homme, Mona Meiser, Madison Meiser, Marshall Meiser, Mason Meiser, Nicholas Meiser, Dante Sartori and Calla Sartori; sister Janet Skelton; and brother David and sister-in-law Georgia Meiser.
Visitation will be from 8:00am - 8:00pm Saturday and Noon – 5pm Sunday, November 21 and 22, 2020 at Primrose Funeral Service (1109 N. Porter Ave. Norman, OK 73071). Visitation will be from 8:00am - 5:00pm, Monday, November 23, 2020. A wake will be held from 5:30pm - 7:00pm, Monday, November 23, 2020 at Primrose Funeral Service. A Mass of Christian Burial will be held at 10:30am, November 24, 2020 at St. Joseph’s Catholic Church with interment to follow at St. Joe Cemetery.
