Marilyn Nesgaard Anderes went home to see Jesus on Sunday, December 27, 2020 after a battle with pulmonary fibrosis. She is survived by her husband of 55 years John, daughter Joy Adams, son John Anderes III and wife Karen, son Mark Anderes and wife Lisa, and eight grandchildren Hannah, Kyle, John IV, Jamie, Alicia, Jackson, Christian and Isabella. She is also survived by her sister Barbara Kilgore and husband Thomas.
Marilyn was a devoted mom, an elementary and middle school teacher, and a distinguished Bible teacher, mentor and author. She became a child of God in January of 1972. Marilyn taught Bible studies and led seminars and retreats, both nationally and internationally, for the last 40 years. She is also the author of several books and dozens of magazine articles. She shared her passion of Jesus with everyone she encountered.
