A memorial service will be held Saturday, January 30, 2020 at 2:00 p.m., at Hanes-Lineberry N. Elm Chapel by Deacon Jack Yarbrough.
Kirby was born March 31, 1949 in El Monte, CA, and raised in Villa Park, IL before following his beloved parents, Joseph and Sophie Borowski Wolf, to NC.
Kirby was employed at Buchanan Printing for most of his career. He was successful in sales due to his warm personality. That along with his sense of humor made Kirby friends fast, and for a lifetime. He was a member of Saint Paul the Apostle Catholic Church for over 20 years. He enjoyed Formula One racing, fishing trips with the guys, following Chicago Bears, Notre Dame, and the Oregon Ducks as well as disk golf in his early years. Most of all he loved spending time with his daughter Katie, his 3 grandchildren, his best friend, Sheryl Crandall and his dog, Sascha.
Kirby also leaves his brother in law, Fred Bircher, to cherish his memory.
The family will receive guests following the service at the funeral home.
