Wilburn M. Deskin, age 90, passed away on Tuesday, January 5, 2021 at The Heritage Center. He was born to the late Hurley and Josie Deskin on November 12, 1930 in Antlers, Oklahoma. He retired from Whirlpool Corporation where he was a millwright after 34 years.
Wilburn was preceded in death by his three brothers and by his wife of 53 years, Patsy.
Wilburn is survived by his daughter and daughter-in-law, Pamela Deskin and Elaine F. Crooks; and by his sons and daughters-in-law, Alan and Rhonda Deskin and Brett and Brandy Deskin. He has three grandchildren, Deidre Hatchett (Evan), Whitney Tennyson (Zach), and Lukas Deskin (Hillary); and has several great-grandchildren.
A Private Visitation will be held from 1:00 p.m. to 2:00 p.m. at Alexander East Chapel with a Private Funeral at 2:00 p.m. officiated by Pastor Yvonne Roth. Entombment will be at Oak Hill Cemetery Mausoleum. Masks are required. Please practice social distancing.
