Rosy was my 1st grade teacher at Saint John the Baptist FW. She later became my coworker, neighbor, and friend! I still have a small quilted blanket her mom made for my oldest daughter. Rosy was great with advice and conversation. I think of her often and will miss her. Love and prayers to her family and friends. 

To the Rosswurm family and all those who loved Rosemary,

I am so sorry for your loss, and my deepest condolences to you all. Rosemary was a very special and dear friend over the last several years. My mother, who resided and passed at St Anne’s back in 2013, was friends with Rosemary and ate in the dining room at Rosemary’s table. After my mother passed, I continued to visit Rosemary and the other gals who were my mother’s friends. Although  Rosemary and my mother didn’t know each other long, she was a good friend and a comfort to her when my mother was not feeling well. Rosemary always enjoyed our visits, she was so appreciative of any thing I did for her. Every Christmas I would set up her Christmas decorations and she so enjoyed her nativity scene and her Christmas tree. Rosemary and I had lots of talks about her family and her years as a teacher. I am a teacher too. I am very sad that I did not realize she had passed. With Covid Restrictions, I was unable to visit her Since last March but I  took her Christmas tree over mid December. At first Rosemary said she did not want her tree this year, but she changed her mind almost immediately and wanted me to bring it over to her. I am so glad now that she had her tree for what would now be her last Christmas On earth.  She even called me to thank me for the tree. I had not heard that she had passed and just found out today. I loved Rosemary and I am sad to know that she has gone but I’m grateful that she’s not suffering any longer and is with our Lord whom she loved and served all of her life. 

My sister, Rosy, was a very sweet caring person.  Oh, we had our "times", as sisters do.  My favorite memories of Rosy are how she loved my kids, especially when they were little.  She always called LoriAnn, Annie,  and Scott, Scottie, even up to the last time I talked with her just after Christmas.  When Scott was little she would count his freckles.  When she was finished he would say, "just un more time, Osie".  And of course there was always "just un more time".  Now she and Scottie are together and counting his freckles as many times as they want.  Thank you, God, for allowing me to be Rosy's baby sister for 71 years.


My deepest sympathy to the Rosswurm family and especially my dear friend Sr. Barbara Jean.  Rosemary taught sixth grade and I taught seventh grade at St. John The Baptist School in Ft. Wayne. She was always available if I had questions regarding our shared students. I was able to visit Rosemary on several occasion at St. Ann's and we always reminisced about those days gone by. Rosemary had a smile that is seared in my mind. Go now in Peace Faithful Servant, you have earned eternal rest. 

My deepest condolences to all of you. I taught with Rosie at St John the Baptist School in Fort Wayne. We both taught 1st Grade. She was such a great colleague and friend! I missed her when she went onto 6th Grade and eventually became our Director of Religious Education.  That was many years ago but still remember the great camaraderie we shared.
