Fernandez, Robert passed away peacefully on January 10, 2021.
He was predeceased by his wife, Jone Fernandez. He is survived by his brother, Dominic Fernandez, step-son Loyd Swails, 8 step-grandchildren and 3 step-great grandchildren.
Bob was born in Tampa and graduated from Hillsborough High School. After serving in the U. S. Coast Guard, he worked for the U. S. Post Office for 35 years. Bob was a member of the First Assembly of God of Clair Mel City. He and Jone loved the mountains of North Carolina where they spent many of their happiest hours. Bob also enjoyed a special friendship with Debbie, Buddy and Kasey Langley and Ladonna, Chris Miller and their daughters Brooke and Danielle. Special thanks to preacher John Raburn and his wife Gail.
Due to Covid, no service will be held. Bob will be buried at the National Cemetary in Bushnell. A celebration of life will be held at a later date. Please consider a donation to First Assembly of God of Clair Mel City.
