Ronald Kerry Wilson, Sr., born in Anniston, AL, on September 15, 1943, passed away on January 11, 2021 in Baton Rouge. He was 77 and was a resident of Covington, LA. He served his country in the Air Force, and was a Vietnam veteran. He was a longstanding member, Elder, and ordained minister at Grace Harbor Family Church. He served his community by ministering and praying for patients of area hospitals. He volunteered at The Friends of the Library. He is survived by his son, Ronald Wilson, Jr.; and grandchildren: Ronald “Trip” Wilson III, Tyler Wilson, and Rachel Wilson. He is preceded in death by his wife, Gwendolyn Wilson; his brother, Cowan Young Wilson III; and parents, Cowan Young, Jr. and Wilma Louise Wilson. Committal with Military Honors will be held on Monday, February 1, 2021, at 1:30 pm at Southeast Louisiana Veteran’s Cemetery, 34857 Grantham College Rd, Slidell, LA 70460.
