Goldie Lujoyce “Jo” Holt went home to be with her heavenly father on May 5th, 2024 at the age of 55. Born on August 30, 1968 to Harold Wayne Holt and Georgia Lujoyce Holt in Little Rock, Arkansas. Jo lived her fifty-five years to the fullest. She battled many health issues over the last five years and ended up losing that battle in her home Sunday surrounded by family.
After graduating from McClellan High School, she went on to pursue an Associates Degree in Electronic Technology. She spent the majority of her adulthood working in the hospitality and service industries while taking care of others.
Jo was most excited about becoming a Mimi this summer and finally having her first grandbaby. She enjoyed all outdoor activities including fishing and camping. She was an avid sports fan, especially the Arkansas Razorbacks. Jo had a huge heart and left an impact on everyone she met.
She is preceded in death by her mother and father and little brother Jason Daniel Holt.
She is survived by the light of her life, daughter Abby Crouch (Brandt) of Benton, love of her life Bill Harris of Lonoke and his children Amber Harris, Stephanie Fetter (Eric), Jon Harris (Christie), Dana Ward (Shawn) and her favorite kid, Truck the dog. She is survived by her brother Billy Holt (Sue) of Alexander, sisters Tammie Dunlap of Midland, TX, Tronia Jewell of Alexander, and Nicki Day (JD) of Bauxite. Jo leaves behind a host of family including nieces and nephews and many beloved friends.
Visitation will be held on Monday, May 13th at Pinecrest Memorial Funeral Home at 7401 AR-5, Alexander from 6 to 8pm. A funeral service will be held on Tuesday, May 14th at Cornerstone Worship Center at 301 Campbell Road in North Little Rock at 11am.
Jo’s life motto was I may cuss and I may smoke, but I sure love Jesus.
Pallbearers will be Brad Scott Holt, Chance Jewell, Triston Day, Joshua Day, Keith Lambert, and Thomas Moorhead. Honorary pallbearers will be Jon Harris and JD Day.
