Beverly Ann Kizer, 78, from Hillsboro, MO, after bravely fighting pancreatic cancer, passed away peacefully in her home, surrounded by family on May 3, 2024. Born on March 25, 1946, she was the daughter of the late Eathyl (Stark) and Luther Anderson.
Bev grew up on a farm in Summersville, MO where she developed a deep affection for animals, particularly horses. Her life's aspiration was to become a devoted wife and mother, roles she fulfilled with unmatched dedication. She epitomized the ideal mother, fondly remembered by her grandchildren as always eager to play and support their every whim. Her family was her top priority, and her selflessness knew no bounds.
She is survived by her devoted husband of 57 years, Victor Kizer, Jr.; her two daughters, Reathia Kizer of Affton and Tammy (Ray) Oliver of Festus; six cherished grandchildren: Dakota (Mackenzie) Gau of DeSoto, Sidney and Reese Buettner of Festus, and Ashleigh, Amber, and Alexandra Hoefl of Affton. She is also survived by two siblings: James (Nancy) Anderson of Summersville, MO and Rosalie (John) Ballard of Cherryville, MO. Additionally, she is survived by three step-children: Victoria (Kevin) Whitworth, Cindy Kizer, and Victor (Kim) Kizer, III., along with eight step-grandchildren and numerous step-great-grandchildren.
Beverly was preceded in death by six siblings: Robert Anderson, Virgil Anderson, Eudell Anderson, Doris Anderson, Goldie Wallace, and Genevieve Ellis.
A funeral service will be held at 1:00 pm on Saturday, June 22nd, followed by visitation from 1:30 to 3:00 pm at the Heiligtag-Lang-Fendler Funeral Home, located at 1081 Jeffco Blvd, Arnold, MO.
