Mary Ann Barnard entered her eternal rest on Tuesday, May 7, 2024 at home surrounded by her family. She was 86, born in Berlin Wisconsin to Fred and Josephine Arndt. She married Charles Barnard in 1958 in Berlin. She is preceded in death by her daughter Kelly Ann Barnard, her parents and her brothers Jimmy, Bobby and Tommy Arndt. She is survived by her husband of 66 years, and 3 daughters- Jean (Robert) Wood, Kathy (Bobby) Gilly and Jackelyn Barnard. Grandchildren - Matthew (fiance' Tanya) Wood, Katelyn (Ross) Vardy and Brenden Gilly. She is also survived by her 2 sisters Barbara (Bill) Williams and Charlotte Mack and many nephews and nieces. Mary Ann worked at Bell Telephone Company in Berlin as a switchboard operator before starting her main occupation as mother and homemaker. Her family and her Christian faith were her world. She was a perfectionist at everything she did- cooking, gardening and cleaning, but she was especially perfect at loving her entire family. She was always listening, guiding, encouraging and always praying for them. Mary Ann was a selfless and gracious lady that had a keen sense of humor, an uncommon common sense and a love for politics. A private graveside service will be held with Pastor Tim Boswell officiating. Dynes and his nurse Lori, Dr. P. Dampf, Dr. J. Godke, Dr. A. Watts, Anastasia Camp NP and Ruby and nurses Brandi, Brooke and Megan. A special thank you to her caregiver Serena who so lovingly cared for her.
