Mary Lucille Harwood

Mary Lucille Harwood, age 86, passed away on Friday, May 10, 2024. Mary was preceded in death by her loving husband of more than 66 years Johnnie Harwood. Mary is survived by her daughter Valerie Lynn (William) Chaney; and her daughter Barbara Sue (Jose) Ruano; her granddaughter April Calhoun, her grandson Brian Joseph Conway, her grandson William Joseph Chaney, her grandson Alex Ruano, her great grandchildren: Ethan, Collin, Quentin, Gage, Faith, Kaden, Harlee, Liam, and her great-great grandchildren: Miles and Riley. Mary was very involved in her TOPS weight loss group for over 25 years, meeting her goal just before her passing. She was a member of Southwood Baptist Church in Beech Grove, Indiana and involved in their church quilting club and kitchen committee. A visitation for Mary will be held Monday, May 20, 2024 from 10:00 AM to 12:00 PM at Southwood Baptist Church, 501 S 4th Ave, Beech Grove, Indiana, 46107, with a funeral service to follow at 12:00 PM. Mary will be laid to rest at New Bethel Cemetery, Wanamaker, IN.
