Obituary of Larry Alan Schuyler
Larry Alan Schuyler, 82, passed away surrounded by love on Friday, May 10th, 2024. Larry found his true calling as a loving husband, father, grandfather, and brother. His family will remember how selfless he was and how he always put his family first. He was forever the boyscout and was always prepared, worked hard, and served his community. Larry retired from Enkei America in 2008. He was a long standing member of Kiwanis and served as their treasurer for many years. He always excelled at selling roses for their fundraiser. He also enjoyed a men’s breakfast group and played in many golf leagues with co-workers and friends at Otter Creek. Larry could often be found taking care of his home and enjoyed working in the gardens that he and his wife loved so much. He was meticulous about his yard and home. You would often see him relaxing on his front porch with his wife, Susan of 57 years. Both born in Michigan, they loved returning to South Haven for family vacations on the lake. Larry is survived by daughters Rebecca Schuyler (Blake Bradford) and Amanda (Art) Slike; a son Ted (Brittany) Schuyler; Grandchildren Skyler, Jay, Jillian, Elijah, Vivia, Quinlan, and Marlee Mae; and his sister Linda Becker. He is preceded in death by his wife Susan Mae Schuyler and his parents Forrest and Margaret Elaine Schuyler. A private celebration of life will be held. In lieu of flowers, the family requests that donations be made to Southern Care Hospice in Bloomington, Indiana. Arrangements are under the direction of Day & Deremiah-Frye Funeral Home. Online condolences may be left for the family at www.DayDeremiahFrye.com
