Ronnie passed away May 13, 2024 at his home. He was born August 27, 1947 in Grand Saline Texas to Earl Chesley and Opal Elizabeth Smith Daniell.
Mr. Daniell is preceded in death by his parents, Earl and Opal Daniell; sister and her husband, Bonnie and Mack Lewis; niece, Misty Dawn Saine; and in-laws, Bill and Daphine Freeman.
Ronnie is survived by his wife of 57 years, Linda Elliott Daniell; son and daughter-in-law, Troy and Nicky Daniell of Elko, Minnesota; grandson and his wife, Garrett and Katie Daniell; granddaughter, Kenzie Daniell; brother and sister-in-law, Mike and Vanessa Daniell; and sister and brother-in-law, Marsha and Freddy Burden. Ronnie has a host of nieces, nephews, and cousins, all of whom he loved dearly.
Ronnie was a 1967 graduate of Terrell High School, a 1973 graduate of Dallas Institute of Funeral Service, and attended the BMA Theological Seminary, Jacksonville, Texas.
Brother Ronnie pastored churches in Elmo, Myrtle Springs, Paris, Trinidad and Lawrence Springs, as well as, Sumrall, Mississippi. He served as Youth and Music Minister in Tundra and Grand Prairie, Texas. Brother Ronnie recorded multiple gospel albums throughout the years. He also worked as a Funeral Director for over 15 total years at Eubank Funeral Home of Canton, Texas.
Additionally, Ronnie served as a Law Enforcement Chaplain for the Van Zandt County Sheriff's Department and the Department of Public Safety for 8 years. Ronnie then served as the Precinct 2 Justice of the Peace, in Van Zandt County, for four terms.
Visitation will be 6-8 pm Tuesday at the funeral home.
