It is with deep sadness that we share the passing of our beloved mother and dear wife Reyna Janet Cotero Beltran, who left us on May 12th, 2024 at the age of 45 after having lived such a beautiful life.
Reyna was born in Cuernavaca Morelos, a city in Mexico on March 1st, 1979 to Altagracia Beltran and Enrique Cotero. She moved and grew up in Santa Ana, a city in Orange County where she later met her husband Jorge Garcia, years passed and they respectfully welcomed their first daughter Briana, two years later they welcomed their second daughter Samantha, soon after they moved to Redlands California, and twelve years later they welcomed their last and final miraculous daughter, Selene.
Surrounded by her loving family and friends in her final moments, she was a woman with an immense amount of love and joy, cherishing every moment spent with her loved ones. Her passion for being a provider and caregiver for her family and her unwavering spirit will forever be remembered. She is survived by her husband Jorge and their three daughters Briana, Samantha, and Selene who will continue her legacy by living life to the fullest.
She was a devoted mother and wife, who loved even the smallest things in life. She was a safe place, a comforter, a warrior, and a role model to those around her and anyone who knew and met her was fortunate enough to have experienced such a genuine love. She filled every room she walked in with love and she never forgot to mention how much she loved and cared for those around her. She enjoyed being outdoors and spending time with her family, she loved her little garden on the porch outside the house, she loved to decorate the house to fit every season and every holiday, she loved to sing her oldies and shout beyonce songs at the top of her lungs while she cleaned the house, she loved going to the beach, she loved to make sure everyone around her was taken care of, and most importantly she loved to make sure that she was always doing her very best at being a mother and wife.
Reyna will be remembered as a selfless, strong wife, mother, daughter, and sister who always had a smile on her face even when times were tough. She had a strength that no one could ever imagine, she never complained and always looked for a brighter future outside of any obstacle she ever faced. She will be deeply missed by her family, friends, and all who knew her but her life will continue down here on earth and in her heaven skies forever.
We love you mommy. Allá nos vemos, pero por ahorita nos amamos de lejitos. Cuidanos.
